Lexi had to have 2 shots yesterday, one in each leg and a vile of another.  She was so brave though!  I brought along a whistle to distract her, but when I pretended to blow in it, it actually whistled!  I was sure that would not make the 2 nurses very happy, so I tried whispering and making soft popping noises in her little ear and it helped.  She got a new book too.!  She loves all the colors and different textures it presents.  Little Miss Busy is what I call her now and Little Bit still.  She came to my house after Dr.'s appt., to kick back and relax. Not quite.....she scoots all over the place and stops to check out every little or big thing she comes in contact with.

....just when I thought lexi could not smile any bigger, upon seeing me,  she outdid herself!  my word, she smiles literally from ear to ear and looks so deep into my eyes while reaching out for me!

This is my Mum's grammy!  She loves us little ones! She talks so sweetly to us, we just relax in her arms and feel safe!

he calls it love...he begins to purr, she likes to think of him as one big ball of fun to grab all at once and to hold onto with everything she's got! .... she yells. someone walks /crawls away frustrated....every time. : )

A babies laughter : )

There is nothing more infectious than a babies laughter!  Lexi and I can keep each other laughing and seem to forget where we started and where we ended.  We take a breathe. I try to become serious, to save my cheeks some discomfort (well worth it), Lexi laughs even harder!  It is one of the most appealing sounds in the world! It is as though we have a connection only we understand...I love you Lexi girl!
